MUI PA TAKAFUL

  • The MUI PA Plan was launched by NUTP in 1996.

  • Minimum contribution: RM5.00 per month

  • Coverage for a RM5.00 monthly contribution:

  • Accidental Death (licensed public vehicle): RM 223,000.00

  • Accidental Death (subject to terms & conditions): RM 113,000.00

  • Daily Hospital Benefit (accident only):

  • Government Hospital: RM 100 per day (maximum RM 2,000)

  • Reimbursement of medical expenses for Private Hospital treatment: RM 3,000

  • Weekly Travel Allowance for immediate family visits during hospitalization due to an accident: RM 50 per week (up to RM 500)

MUI PLUS

Protect yourself with comprehensive personal accident coverage for only RM0.70 a day (RM21 per month).

Additional Benefits:

  • Hospitalization & Medical Costs: Coverage for treatment expenses, RM100 daily hospital cash allowance.

TAKAFUL HIBAH NUTP (ETIQA TAKAFUL)

  • No Health Examination Required

  • Contribution as low as RM30.00 per month

  • Coverage scope for contributions of RM30.00 per month:

  • Normal Death / Accident: RM50,000.00

  • Coverage for 36 Critical Illnesses: RM50,000.00

  • Total / Partial Permanent Disability: RM50,000.00

  • Daily Hospital Benefit

  • Funeral Expenses:

  • Participant: RM3,000.00

  • Spouse: RM1,000.00

  • Child: RM500.00 (maximum 4 children)

MyNUTP HIBAH TAKAFUL PENDIDIK

MyNUTP Hibah Takaful Pendidik is a takaful plan in collaboration between NUTP and Etiqa Takaful Keluarga Berhad, specially designed for educators. With a contribution as low as RM3.30 per day, this plan protects participants up to the age of 70 and includes a savings component where 43% of the monthly contribution is credited to the participant’s savings account.

Key Benefits:

  • Death Protection:
    Covers both normal death and accidental death.
    Compensation up to RM200,000 for accidental death.

  • Critical Illness Protection:
    Covers 36 types of critical illnesses (e.g., heart attack, stroke, cancer).
    Includes daily hospital benefits and additional benefits.

    Compensation for total and permanent disability.

  • Daily Hospital Benefit:
    Daily hospital allowance for illness or accident.

  • Savings Component:

LIVIN - PAY PLUS

  • Protection Features:

  • No medical examination required, even if the individual is currently ill.

  • Covers 45 critical illnesses.

  • Double Indemnity: Accident death protection up to RM500,000.

  • Emergency Fund: Up to RM250,000 for critical illness and life protection.

  • Cash Allowance: RM300 per night if admitted to the hospital.

  • Maturity payout at age 75.

  • Premium Plans:

  • RM88/month: Protection up to RM80,000+ for normal death and accidental disability.

NUTP MOTOR TAKAFUL

TAKAFUL MOTOR NUTP is an Islamic vehicle insurance scheme that offers various benefits to vehicle owners. This program emphasizes cost savings, convenience, and comprehensive coverage based on Sharia principles.

Key Features of This Scheme:

  • Commission Return: Commissions are directly refunded to participants.

  • No Additional Charges: No extra charges for additional drivers.

MYEZCOVER

NUTP-MYEZCover is a vehicle insurance financing program designed specifically for NUTP members and educators. This program offers 0% interest for monthly installments to renew vehicle insurance and road tax. Key features include:

  • 0% Interest: No interest is charged for financing vehicle insurance and road tax.

  • 10-Month Installments: Payments can be made over a maximum of 10 months.

  • Salary Deduction: Payments are made via salary deduction or ANGKASA.

Example: For a Honda City with a total insurance and road tax amount of RM900, the monthly installment for 10 months would be RM90.

DARUL JENAZAH

Darul Jenazah is a comprehensive funeral management plan for teachers in Malaysia, offered through BUMIJEZ SDN BHD and NUTP. It covers individuals, families, and retired teachers with affordable monthly contributions starting from RM10. This plan ensures funeral management is conducted according to Islamic principles, easing the financial and emotional burden on the deceased's family.

Key Features:

  • Affordable Packages:

    • Individual Plan: RM10 or RM15 per month.

    • Family Plan (husband + 5 children): RM15 or RM20 per month.

    • Retired Teachers: One-time contribution of RM1,000.

  • Comprehensive Coverage:

    • Complete funeral management (up to RM1,500).

    • Financial assistance to family members (e.g., RM1,000 cash).

    • Death benefits due to accidents and hospitalization assistance.

  • Eligibility:
    Open to active teachers, retirees, family members, and parents aged 60 and above.
